Choose the British Airways A350-1000 if…

What Does Seat Pitch Actually Mean?
Seat pitch is the distance between a point on one seat and the same point on the seat immediately in front or behind it.
It isn’t exactly the same thing as usable legroom.
However, it provides an important indication of how much space an airline has allocated to each row.
For the SkypropreAir Seat Space assessment, both pitch and seat width matter.
Our Seat Space calculation gives:
60% importance to seat pitch
and
40% importance to seat width.
This prevents an unusually wide but tightly pitched seat or a narrow seat with reasonable pitch, from automatically dominating the ranking.
Aircraft Type Isn’t Enough
This is one of the most important principles behind the database.
A Boeing 787 operated by Airline A can provide a different Economy experience from a Boeing 787 operated by Airline B.
Even aircraft operated by the same airline can have different cabin configurations.
That’s why SkypropreAir tracks:
Airline + Aircraft + Configuration
rather than aircraft type alone.
Where materially different configurations exist, they will eventually receive separate database entries.
What Does “Partially Verified” Mean?
Airlines don’t always publish every seat measurement for every aircraft configuration.
We therefore distinguish between:
Verified — key configuration information is supported by strong primary evidence.
Partially Verified — important information is verified, but one or more measurements may depend on reputable secondary configuration sources.
We would rather leave a specification blank or clearly identify its limitations—than present uncertain information as fact.
Aircraft configurations also change.
Always check your airline’s current seat map before paying for a particular seat.
